Aloe vera is medicinal plant that has many health benefits for its users. Consumers may buy aloe vera in different forms. It is possible to buy aloe vera as a gel, extract, powder, juice and a plant to grow in the home. Consumers can use aloe vera externally and internally.

There are more than 300 species of the aloe vera plant. This African plant has succulent spiked leaves, which if broken, release aloe vera gel. The aloe vera plant is referred to in historic texts as being used in ancient Egypt, Greece and Asia for its beautifying and healing effects.

It is possible to use unrefined aloe vera gel right from the plant. Many people will keep aloe vera plants in their homes, for this purpose. Suppliers sell aloe vera in this form, too.

The plant gel is commonly used to heal and cleanse wounds. Its healing properties and skin friendly qualities have made it a popular natural product around the world. In clinical studies, aloe vera was associated with lowering heart disease risk factors, lowered cholesterol levels and lowering diabetic sugar levels after meals.

Aloe vera has the ability to hydrate and soothe skin. This is especially helpful for dry or sun burnt sun. The aloe vera sinks into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Aloe vera also reduces inflammation.

When used as a topical application aloe vera is generally used in gel form as a skin conditioner, after sun treatment and for wounds. For these purposes, it is easy to use the natural gel form or an extract used as an ingredient in a cream. The gel form can be taken internally as well.

The aloe vera powder and juice are used for both external and internal use. Aloe powder and juice are both versatile forms of the product. The powder or juice may be used in the manufacture of beauty and first aid preparations.

The powder or granules are taken as a laxative. Aloe products are used in cough preparations. Aloe is used for the treatment of ulcers and other medical conditions. Aloe vera powder, juice and gel is taken internally with the thought that it will improve and clean all systems from the inside out. The gel or a juice made from the gel may be taken by itself or in combination with other healthy ingredients.

Consumers take aloe vera internally because of its benefits for the immune system and digestion tract. Aloe vera products are considered as a healthy dietary supplement because of its high volume of mineral and vitamin content. Enthusiasts claim that drinking aloe vera keeps weight down because it provides many nutrients and promotes a healthy feeling.

The practice of taking aloe vera internally has a shorter history than its topical use. The jury is still out about the complete safety of taking aloe vera products internally for long periods because serious medical conditions have been associated with chronic internal use.

Aloe products have the ability to lower sugar levels and should not be taken by internally without consulting a doctor. For this reason, until more studies are known, it is recommended that young children avoid taking aloe products internally. Internal use of aloe vera can contradict some drugs. People with allergies to plants of the lily family, such as tulips and garlic, should avoid this plant of the same family.

Aloe vera has found its way into personal, first aid and health food products. It is one of the most widely recognized natural products. Many people prefer aloe vera products to other similar products because of its many benefits.

Regardless of the gender, age or severity of acne and related skin blemishes, obtaining the services of a qualified dermatologist will allow prompt and effective treatment with acne medicine.

The dermatologist is a key player in identifying and treating the condition known as acne. Acne comes in several types and can affect different people in different ways. In order to definitively diagnose acne in the patient, the dermatologist relies on experience, training and various medical diagnostic tests. Determining the best type of acne medicine or treatment methods is the next step in the process. But, treatment of the individual with pimple or other similar skin eruptions and scarring requires additional assistance from the dermatologist. If you are fighting acne, pick a dermatologist who will provide support in several areas.

Recognition

The qualified dermatologist has a key role in implementing an acne medicine treatment plan. Although you may consider the appearance of pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and other lesions to be a sure sign of acne, in fact, there are numerous skin conditions that will manifest as one or more of the above symptoms. The treatment for acne may be very different than treatment for one of the other diseases. Only the experienced and knowledgeable will be able to distinguish between the symptoms of acne and similar symptoms caused by other diseases. This is true even when the acne is in its earliest stages.

Encouragement

The dermatologist is also responsible for providing encouragement to those patients who have acne. When the acne medicine helps to improve the appearance acne sufferer, it not only helps medically, but the acne sufferer begins to feel better emotionally. The self esteem level goes up simply due to the knowledge that physical appearance is improved. Any dermatologist can prescribe medication, either topical or oral, but it is a particularly sensitive physician who recognizes the importance of encouragement for the emotional well-being of the patient. Choose a dermatologist who recognizes the necessity for treating the whole person.

Latest treatment

The dermatologist qualified and experienced in the treatment of acne is in the best position to diagnose, define and prescribe the most effective acne medicine. In the last decade, treatment for acne has made giant strides. In the past, the best hope for acne sufferers was specialized soaps and skin cleansers which were sometimes harsh and damaging to the skin. Today, new treatments work effectively on the underlying causes of acne so that the condition is fought below the surface of the skin. Improvements in the knowledge base are being made constantly with hope for a complete cure in most patients now a reachable objective.

Prevent Scarring

The dermatologist charged with the treatment of pimple will also be able to assist in treatment to reduce the likelihood of scarring. In prescribing acne medicine by the dermatologist, most acne cases will show evidence of improvement. The dermatologist can also refer the acne sufferer to a cosmetic surgeon in order to further improve the appearance by removing acne scars. In recent years, the focus of the dermatologist has increasingly been to not only treat the symptoms, but to work at eliminating or reducing the disfiguring scars related to acne.

EPA - Top of my list of stress busting, mood and mind enhancing supplements is pure EPA. This is one of the Omega 3 fatty acids, found abundantly in fish oil.

For the past couple of years, I have been recommending this particular supplement to clients and have witnessed the real and positive difference that it can make in the lives of those who regularly take it. In fact, there is a large body of evidence that pure EPA does indeed stabilise mood, improve mental functioning and help us handle anxiety and stress more effectively.

EPA supplementation has shown itself to be of benefit not only to those experiencing stress, but also to individuals suffering from depression, bi-polar disorder (manic depression) and mood swings. Additionally, EPA has been shown to improve memory, concentration and mental processing. EPA has also been shown to be of help in successfully treating skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis.

The local health food store probably has an abundance of bottles labelled ‘EPA’ for sale, but most of these contain too low a proportion of actual EPA and large amounts of DHA. Almost all of the research has been conducted with pure EPA and so, when choosing to supplement, it is important to select a fish oil high in EPA and low in DHA in order to gain the maximum benefit. UK residents can check www.mind1st.co.uk when considering purchasing EPA, while those outside the UK will need to go online to locate a supplier. In my experience, it really is worth the effort, and the price.

St John’s Wort - Often called ‘Nature’s Prozac’, St John’s Wort is also sometimes referred to as ‘the sunshine vitamin’, though it is not a vitamin but a herbal supplement.

St John’s Wort has been used for centuries in Europe in order to treat mental disorders and relieve pain and, while not recommended for cases of major depression, this herb has shown itself to be useful in the treatment of mild to moderate depression, anxiety and mood disorders.

It is thought that the active agent in St John’s Wort works by preventing neurons or brain cells from re-absorbing serotonin - commonly referred to as ‘the happiness molecule’ - thereby stimulating an abundance of this essential, mood-influencing chemical messenger in the brain. Some researchers have suggested that it works by reducing the quantity of a specific protein that is involved in the healthy functioning of the immune system.

But no matter exactly how it achieves its remarkable results, it does indeed appear to have a had a marked beneficial effect on clients who have given it an honest trial.

Because St John’s Wort can inter-react with certain medications, do remember to check with your health advisor before taking this powerful supplement.

That taken care of, you can look forward to feeling the results within a few short weeks.

Vitamin B Complex - The B complex vitamins are needed for the healthy regulation of the nervous system. Indeed, without these essential nutrients, not only would we cease to function mentally, but eventually everything would grind to a halt.

Vitamins B1, B6 and B12 are needed for the effective functioning of the brain, as well as the whole nervous system. In fact, stress, anxiety and depression — together with fatigue and lethargy — can result from a deficiency of any of the B vitamins.

In today’s age of processed and de-natured convenient foods, it may be difficult to achieve sufficient quantities of these essential substances. Also, since each of the B vitamins works in close synergy with the others, a deficiency in any one B vitamin can provoke poor functioning of the others - even if they are in abundant supply in the diet. Because of this, it is wisest to take the B vitamins in a complete complex. Any excess of the B vitamins is easily excreted in the urine.

Make certain you check the label before you buy, though. Because vitamin B6 is relatively expensive to produce, really cheap B complex preparations often contain only small amounts of this important vitamin. Also, since vitamin B12 in particular is not easily absorbed when taken orally, look for a preparation that ideally has its vitamins in ‘chelated’ form. This simply means that the vitamins have been bonded with amino acids so that they can be efficiently absorbed and utilised by the body. Of course, chelated vitamins do cost a bit more, but it is well worth that little bit extra.

After all, what is really important is not so much what we swallow, but what we actually absorb.

Give these three powerful supplements an honest trial for three months and notice the difference in your mental functioning - and in your feelings of mental wellness and positivity.

IMPORTANT: Information contained in this article is not a replacement for proper nutritional or medical advice. Since certain supplements are contra-indicated for some individuals, especially those taking other medication, before beginning any programme of supplementation you are advised to visit your doctor or other qualified health care professional.

By: Suzanne Jones

There is no doubt that some vitamins & minerals can help to reduce acne, although it’s unlikely that any are going to enable you to ‘cure’ adult acne completely!

Vitamin A can help your battle against acne, and zinc also appears to have a very positive effect on problem skin.
There are also some theories that acne is a result of a deficiency in vitamin B5. This theory is based on the idea that your body needs this to help metabolize the harmful fats in your diet.

Skincare experts in support of this theory suggest that in order to metabolize fats properly, your body needs Coenzyme-A, which is also necessary for the synthesis of hormones. Coenzyme-A is created within the body from a combination of cysteine, adenosine triphosphate, and vitamin
B5 or pantothenic acid as it is otherwise known.

Of these three, the one that is most commonly lacking is vitamin B5,
and from this it follows that your body cannot make enough
Coenzyme-A to satisfy all of its requirements.

In this case, the metabolization of fats takes precedence over the
synthesis of hormones, and in this way, too many hormones remain
unsynthesized. So, there is a need (according to this theory) for
additional vitamin B5 to be taken in as a way of redressing the
balance.

The problem with this theory is that most proponents recommend
extremely high daily dosages of B5 in order for the plan to be effective, with between 10 and 20 grams a day (note, that is grams, not milligrams)
being the most widely recommended dose. There are many reports
that, if taken in the dosages suggested, B5 is actually more harmful
than beneficial.

For example, several (albeit non-scientific) studies have indicated that
excessively large doses of B5 can lead to chronic fatigue, constant
headaches and a general inability for the body to heal itself in the
normal way.

The proponents of the theory counter-claim that, since B5 is a water
soluble vitamin, any unused excess will be secreted by the body, so
there is no risk involved. While this is true to a certain extent, the fact
is that the doses recommended by the supporters of the B5 theory are
just too high for this to happen in reality.

Your body simply does not have the capability of processing such
massive amounts of any vitamin that quickly, and so the B5 will
remain in your body long enough to cause the kind of problems that
seem to be most commonly associated with it.

Most importantly, it is important to understand that everything that
happens inside your body is about maintaining a healthy balance, and
that the more balanced your system is, the more healthy you are.
For example, your body needs both calcium and phosphorus to stay
healthy, but it needs them in balance with one another. Get the
balance wrong, and it is every bit as bad for you as not having them at
all.

Too much phosphorus, for example, and your body will start leeching
calcium from your skeleton as a way of topping up your calcium store
to maintain the correct balance between the two. This will obviously
weaken your bones, making them far more susceptible to damage and
breakages.

It is a similar story with vitamin B5. If you try to take in excessively
high levels of any particular B vitamin, your body will react by
attempting to leech all the other B vitamins out of your body to
maintain the correct balance.

So, your body ‘sucks up’ vitamins B3 and B6 from wherever it can find
them, for example, and as these are key vitamins for controlling and
regulating the levels of energy in your body, hence you get the feeling
of being permanently tired. So, it appears that the vitamin B5 theory
is simply not correct and that, if anything, taking vitamin B5 in the
dosage that are most commonly recommended by the supporters of
the theory is likely to be more dangerous than beneficial.

A much better and safer alternative is the Clear Pores Herbal Skin Supplements that contain everything your body needs to healthy, glowing skin.

By: Hannah Walker

It’s no secret that teenagers generally suffer from the worst skin complaints. Due to their fluctuating hormones their skin can endure some fairly dramatic changes, acne and oily patches being the most common skin conditions faced by teens. There’s a whole skin care market designed specifically for teenagers, and the choice of products and methods can be somewhat daunting! There are certain things which you can keep in mind when choosing products and carrying out your routine…

The most important thing is to use natural and organic skin care products so there is no chance of harsh chemicals irritating skin that is already sensitive. Natural ingredients should not aggravate conditions like acne and eczema.

You should seek out natural skincare products with active, soothing ingredients. Lavender, aloe and chamomile are good for irritated, sensitive skin, and tee tree oil works well as an antiseptic for infected spots.

Entirely astringent products should be avoided. Although the skin appears greasy, depriving it completely of moisturiser can in fact make it worse. Light, non oil-based moisturisers are available. It is best to use skin care specifically designed for teenage skin as normal products generally cater for skin that is more durable and stable (unless they are specialist or pharmaceutical products).

In terms of your daily routine, it is important to stay clean and wash your face regularly as this will rid your skin of the bacteria which can cause infections and worsen acne. However it is also important not to over wash, or scrub the skin too often as this can cause the skin to become irritated or secrete more oil. A foaming cleanser rinsed of with clean water can provide a good level of cleaning whilst remaining delicate on the skin. If your skin is really oily and you find that you are washing it frequently then it can be a good idea to use blotting papers, or even tissues to remove excess oil.

It is important not to bring you skin into contact with bacteria, or even oil which clogs the pores, so keep your fingers away – if you do have to touch your face then make sure you have washed your hands. It is a bad idea to pop spots, as this can cause the infection to spread. There are many natural products which specifically target spots and pimples, you can use these or just dab on a bit of tee tree oil to dry it up!

Always remove make up before you go to bed, the skin needs to breathe for a period and leaving the pores clogged up is a surefire way to get spots. There are natural and organic make ups ranges, and ones specifically designed for sensitive skin, it should only be lightly applicated.

Long or lank hair hanging around the faces can transfer even more oil to the skin and cause breakouts near the hair line, it can even cause acne on the back if it is always loose. Hair should be kept clean and if it is unavoidably oily then it should be tied back.

Obviously not all teens suffer from problem skin and each case will be different, however it’s a good idea to have the right skin care to make sure that if problems develop they will be under control, and generally just keep your skin in good condition! Ultimately, using a good quality skin care product with natural, organic ingredients means that you are giving your skin the best treatment possible!

Acne would absolutely be the last thing that you would want to see on your face. Most teenagers would want to look good and charming but the annoying pimples makes it impossible and only add to their skin problems. Are you tired of looking for ways to stay you face clear from acne? Have you ever wondered what the root cause of acne is? Are you eager to know about acne medication and prevention? If you want to know more about products that can help your fight acne, you just have to review our article.

How Can You Face your Facial Problems?
The sight of pimples on your face would most likely make you jump just to look for an acne remedy and treatment. Can you distinguish the different causes of acne? In reality, the skin has oil producing glands that gives the natural moisture not only to the skin but also to the hair. Now when the natural oil mix with the dust that are present in the air, the pores on the face start to get clogged and this produces acne. So that you are able to prevent your acne from getting worse, you also have to know the factors that could aggravate your present condition.

Causes of Acne
In order to effectively put an end to your problems with the use of proper acne medication, you have to determine the acne cause. In view of the fact that not everyone has the same body chemistry, the root of acne may be different as well. It is necessary for you to know the exact cause so that you will know what treatment would work best. Here are some of the common root causes of acne:

1.	Adolescence Stage and Natural Hormones of the Body
2.	Bacteria and germs
3.	It runs in the blood

Acne Medication and Treatment
Looking for the most excellent acne medication is easier now that you already know your acne problem cause. For extreme cases, medical attention is already needed. There are oral antibiotics which are safe and may improve the skin up to six months of usage. In addition to oral antibiotics, an antibacterial ointment is also effective in killing acne causing bacteria. Nonetheless, if your skin is just starting to build up acne, here are ways of preventing severe inflammation:

1.	Never touch your skin without washing your hands. You should also stop rubbing or scratching the acne infected skin area.
2.	Be vigilant with your diet.
3.	Stop thinking about things that would only give you stress.
4.	Be watchful of your body’s cleanliness at all times.
5.	Just use gentle skin care products on your skin and be sure to rinse it off with a lot of water.

The Top 5 Acne Treatment Blunders That Are Sabotaging YOUR Clear Skin Goals

“Acne”.

It doesn’t *sound* as bad as it makes us FEEL, does it? Who knew that a simple 4-letter word could be the cause of so much frustration, anxiety and angst? You know about keeping your skin clean and nixing an excess of “bad foods” from your diet … yet your acne continues to get worse.

But why … and how do you STOP the damage?

There are options. First, make sure you’re not sabotaging all hope of achieving lasting clear skin with the following 5 blunders.

Are you guilty?

Acne Treatment Don’t #1: The “Squeaky Clean” Regime.

Of course it’s very important to maintain clean skin, especially when suffering from acne. But realize that even people with very clean skin develop acne, so “dirty skin” can’t be the only cause.

In fact, OVERcleansing can lead to aggravation, redness, flaky, peeling skin, and can even cause your skin to produce MORE oil to compensate for the natural oils stripped away by excessive cleansing.

TIP: The vast majority of people, with acne or otherwise, benefit from cleansing the skin 2 to 3 times daily, tops. Any more often and you run the serious risk of making your acne worse!

Acne Treatment Don’t #2: Chemical Cocktail Hell.

“Benzoyl peroxide”… “Salicylic acid”… “Isotretinoin” (e.g., Accutane)…

Why have we decided it necessary to ingest or slather ourselves with harsh chemicals we can’t even pronounce?

True, these potions, lotions, pills and injections can sometimes appear to relieve acne fast. But more often than not, they can also cause any number of nasty side effects ranging from severely dry, flaky skin… to liver damage… to severe depression … and even *suicidal tendencies*.

Yikes.

As if the very thought of applying “acid” to our bodies wasn’t scary enough, the possible side effects of some of these topical and oral supposed “acne miracle drugs” are definitely enough to make us reconsider!

Acne Treatment Don’t #3: Too Much Elbow Grease.

Yes, exfoliation in and of itself can be very important in your battle with acne, as it helps unblock already clogged pores and prevents the blockage of healthy ones. But by contrast, OVERexfoliation — rough treatment, harsh scrubs and scrub brushes, excessive rubbing, scraping, or picking, etc. — achieves the opposite effect.

It aggravates the skin, making the problem much worse.

Not only can excessive exfoliation increase breakouts, it can also cause embarrassing, unsightly scars and indentations which might never fully heal.

So … gently, please.

Acne Treatment Don’t #4: A Failure to Act.

Unless your acne is purely hormonal (i.e., a symptom of PMS), it won’t just go away on its own. In fact, the longer you wait to cure your acne, the harder it gets to do so.

It’s much easier to cure mild-to-moderate acne than it is to cure severe acne. Although, in every case, curing it CAN still be done when you commit to using the right methods.

Acne Treatment Don’t #5: The “Band-Aid Theory” Blunder.

Keeping clean, gently exfoliated skin will not clear or prevent your acne on its own. Many people fail to realize and accept the INTERNAL factors which cause acne, which can range from hormones, genetics, diet, stress, and more — root causes of the problem.

—> *REAL TALK*

Long-term use of over-the-counters and topicals to cure and prevent acne is like continuing to pop pain killers to soothe the pain of a dislocated shoulder — instead of goin’ to get that sucker popped back into place!

Sure you’re not in as much pain — maybe no pain at ALL so long as you keep taking painkillers.

But because you haven’t attacked the root of the problem, *a part of your body is still “broken”* … not to mention the fact that you continue to pay out the wazoo regularly to maintain your pain killer stash.

—> *REAL TALK*

That’s no way to live.

This same concept can be applied to permanently ridding yourself of acne. You’ll save money and will feel healthier once you FIX that “break” in your system that’s causing your breakouts.

To permanently achieve *lasting*, blemish-free skin, you need to fight this battle at the root, attacking as many of the causes of your acne at once instead of relying solely on external means of elimination and prevention.

Good luck!

Home remedies for acne come in all flavors of weird. There’s the egg yolk mask, handyman soap scrub, lidocaine rub and even a urine toner. And like any experimental treatment, homemade treatments may work sheerly because of the placebo effect. Yet, does toothpaste posses any properties that support its usage as an acne treatment?

The first place to begin answering this question is to consider the ingredients in common toothpastes and what effect they have on the skin.

Fluoride:

In almost any tube of toothpaste you’ll find sodium monoflurorophosphate, or simply put, some chemical variety of fluoride. Fluoride prevents tooth cavities. But in the skin, fluoride typically causes more damage that it corrects. For example, medicals studies have reported that large does of fluoride could cause systemic poisoning. Though the amount of fluoride in tooth paste is less than one percent you may not want predispose yourself to risk.

If toothpaste does help acne prone skin, it’s most likely not due to the fluoride because this chemical can irritate or burn the skin and sometimes provoke skin allergies.

Glycerin, sorbitol and alumina:

Skimming down the list of toothpaste ingredients, we arrive at agents with the potential to delete zits like hydrated silica, sorbitol, alumina and glycerin. Silica and types of aluminum are used to treat acne via dermabrasive products. However, in the toothpaste, they are too fine to profoundly exfoliate the skin. Sorbitol is a flavoring agent while glycerin makes the toothpaste feel good in your mouth.

Moving on, we come to sodium lauryl sulfate, or the toothpaste bubble maker. You don’t need suds to get rid of zits. Next!

Getting rid of calcium:

Now we encounter sodium pyrophosphate, or some relative of this chemical resting in our toothpaste. Sodium pyrophosphate limits tartar deposits on the teeth by removing calcium and magnesium from saliva. It is with this calcium evicting phosphate that we may find a potential acne curative.

Skin levels of calcium directly influence skin cell growth and differentiation. One of the traits of acne includes improper shedding of the skin or improper skin cell separation. And according to research done by Chia-Ling L. Tu and colleagues, too much calcium in the epidermis skin causes more hair follicles to grow, makes the skin more susceptible to outside attacks and increases cell growth.

None of these activities help contain acne so taking away a little calcium from acne prone skin may eliminate a cluster of zits. So we allot a point to pyrophosphate as a possible acne taming agent.

Use these ingredients in a better product and they will help with acne:

Rounding out the toothpaste ingredients are minimal amounts of titanium dioxide and or baking soda (sodium bicarbonate). As far as the skin is concerned, these two agents are wonderful exfoliators, yet in some toothpastes, their presence may prove too small to positively affect the skin.

These guys may also absorb excess facial oils which will definitely help bumpy skin heal faster. As predominant skin care ingredients, titanium dioxide and baking soda sever as wonderful dermbrasion agents, so you may want to try them in this form.

In short. proving whether or not your toothpaste will get rid of acne would require some costly research and you would still have to face the ominous doubt cast by the placebo effect. Toothpaste does contain ingredients with the potential to control acne like pyrophosphates that improve skin cell shedding, and skin exfoliators like titanium dioxide and baking soda.

The only problem is, toothpaste is formulated to treat and prevent cavities, not pimples. You really can’t fully benefit from toothpaste’s zit fighting agents because they are not concentrated enough. Instead, use acne products that contain right proportions of bump fighting ingredients, whether you buy them at the drug store or make them at home.

Are the Things that Look Like Genital Lumps Acne?

Skin conditions that affect the genitalia occur rarely on healthy human bodies. But when they do occur, they are troublesome and quite alarming. When it happens, we tend to consider simple solutions along with the more complicated and more worrisome ones. For example, when one spots genital lumps, acne is among the first conditions that would come to mind. One thinks that perhaps a few stray zits appeared in that normally non-zit prone part of the body, and would soon disappear as long as that part is kept clean.

There is something one must get out of the way at the onset: when it comes to genital lumps, acne is not the culprit. In fact, there is no such thing as “genital acne.” What looks like acne is not actually acne, but may be one of a number of other conditions.

Most often, the condition to be blamed is hidradenitis suppurativa - a blockage of pores that results in folliculitis, or a sort of inflammation that resembles pimples. This takes place when a person perspires heavily, then the sweat is trapped within the pores of the skin, thanks to tight and restrictive clothing.

Just because hidradentis suppurativa produces lumps that resemble pimples, they are not actually pimples. Acne is a hormonal condition that makes the body produce extra sebum, which then gets trapped inside the pores of the skin and causes tiny lumps to appear.

Acne lumps could take different forms; they could be pustules, papules and comedones. Pustules are soft, dome-shaped, pus-filled lesions that may have a strand of hair growing at the center. Papules are tiny lesions (5 mm or less) that are harder to the touch. Comedones are more commonly known as blackheads or whiteheads.

In its more severe forms, acne may become manifest as nodules or cysts. Nodules are irregularly-shaped, solid lesions that may be quite painful, and are known to leave scars. Cysts are sac-like growths that are larger than pustules and are often inflamed.

The lumps that form on the genital area may simply be soft and painful, but if the condition is hidradenitis suppurativa, they should not be filled with pus. The genital lumps “acne” are filled only with water that is trapped within the pores. One can avoid experiencing them by making it a point to wear clothing and underwear that are not too tight. Allowing the skin to breathe more would also help in the healing process, if one already has this condition. Even if this skin affliction could be quite uncomfortable, it is nonetheless temporary and non-contagious.

Eating sprouted food, the digestibility as well as the nutritional quality improves. You need to make it the regular part of your diet. It preserves the health of the skin and enhances its glow.

In acne conditions, taking sprouts as part of your regular diet helps the process of its healing, and rejuvenation of the skin.

The best part of the sprouting exercise is that it does not involve hard efforts. Sprouted foods are very popular with those practicing natural medications. To many ancient races, sprouts were the regular part of the diet. Sprouts possess all essential minerals and vitamins.

All grains and legumes can be sprouted. For example, wheat, millet pearl, maize, fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, muskmelon seeds, Bengal gram, groundnut and legume green.

The taste of sprouted food grains is very good. They are a big source of vitamins, enzymes, anti-oxidants fiber and protein. The regular use of sprouted products helps to maintain the internal purity of the system, and therefore it is unlikely that you have long term skin eruptions, acne conditions or any types of skin disorders.

The best part of the sprout project is that they can be grown anywhere with very little investment! It is easy to grow the sprouts in trays. Soak the seeds overnight. Select a flat dish. You also get sprout growing trays in the market.

Spread a 2” layer soil and sprinkle seeds on the top of soil. Cover them with four layers of damp newspaper. Then cover the top of the tray with plastic wrap. You find the sprouts begin to lift the plastic cover. That is after about 3-4 days.

Remove the newspaper. Let the tray receive the daylight but not the direct sunlight. The layer of soil dries out quickly. Water it two times a day. You will have your sprout harvest ready, within 8 to 10 days.

You need to wash the sprouts thoroughly, and get the seed coat removed. Store the excess quantity in the refrigerator when they are ready to eat. Pour them in tight sealing bags, so that they remain flavorful and crisp. If necessary, rinse them in cold water daily.

Apart from the health benefits of the sprouts, the cost benefit is also very important. You get the quantity at least 4 times more than the original seeds. You can judge the popularity of the sprouts, among the health-conscious public. You get ready made sprouts in many departmental stores.

Some sprouts do not need cooking. Sprinkle a little salt and lime-juice on it and your food, containing the essential vitamins is ready!

A little sunshine is essential in achieving optimum overall health and well-being. Medical studies show that as much as 15 minutes of sun exposure a day may help the body produce vitamin D which is important in the prevention of osteoporosis, hypertension, cancer, and other autoimmune diseases. Vitamins D is a fat soluble vitamin that is found in some foods but is produced in body with the aid of ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun. This kind of vitamin is essential in maintaining the proper level of phosphorus and calcium in the blood. Vitamin D, combines with other vitamins, minerals, hormones, and other substances to maintain strong and healthy bones that will not easily break or become brittle.

However, extended exposure may cause many skin problems like early-wrinkling and skin cancer. Other factors like pollution and the thinning of the ozone layer have posed additional health risks for the skin. Too much exposure to the sun may damage the texture and weaken the elastic attributes of the skin. The outer layer of the skin called the epidermis may become rough and wrinkled as a result to over-exposure. Sun-induced skin damage may cause wrinkles, furrows, easy bruising, or brown spots. In the long run overexposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays may lead to cancer. But because this skin condition is cumulative, it is never too late to make adjustments to protect one’s self from the sun’s harmful effects.

The advent of various skin care products like sunscreens are designed to help protect against the sun’s harmful effects. Many kinds of sunscreens are out in the market that contain many ingredients that work by scattering, redirecting, or properly absorbing the sun’s rays. Sunscreens are available as lotions, creams, sprays, lip balms, and many more. These products can be bought over-the-counter and without a doctor’s approval. In addition to these products, foods rich in selenium, beta-carotene, Vitamins A, C, and E may alleviate the harmful effects of the sun.

Like other forms of medication, side-effects may be developed with the use of skin care products. Here are some of the side-effects that can be developed with sunscreen use.

acne
burning, itching, or stinging of the skin
redness or swelling of the skin
rash, with or without blisters that ooze and become crusted
pain in hairy parts of body
pus in hair follicles
Individuals who decide to use sunscreens and other skin care products should seek the approval of health professionals. Even though most of these products are can be bought over-the-counter. They may still carry health risks. A doctor’s approval is necessary to clarify side-effects and interactions that may be developed while using sunscreen products.

Skin care these days is an essential part of a healthy regimen because of the abundance of environmental pollution, global warming, and the thinning of the ozone layer. Without taking care of the skin, individuals may heighten the risks of developing skin ailments like psoriasis, skin cancer, and other skin conditions. Understanding proper use of skin care products and maintaining appropriate sun exposure is essential in maintaining healthy skin.

Go Outside & Cure Acne This Summer Without Cancer Fears

Finally, some good news for sun worshipers. Researchers at the Harvard-affiliated Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston provided reasons to be less paranoid about tanning. In an upcoming edition of the Harvard Health Letter, investigators clarified that a suntan is the body’s best effort to fend off the known cancerous effects of ultraviolet (UV) light, not a mere symbol irreparable skin damage.

As ultraviolet light penetrates the skin, it mutates DNA. This mini mutation helps create that sun kissed look that no tan-in-a-tube can emulate. While this is good news for seasonal beach bums, it’s spectacular news for acne sufferers.

For years, sunbathing has served as an anecdotal cure for acne. But who wants to treat acne with sunshine if this remedy could cause skin cancer years later? Now that medical insights reveal sunbathing with an 45 SFP sunscreen significantly reduces cancer risk, acne sufferers can enjoy a free solar acne treatment, minus the cancer threat.

Using the Sun as an Acne Treatment Acne lesions can form from a motley of bodily processes including hormonal fluctuations, dietary allergies, improper skin shedding and an encumbered immune system.

When acne pustules grow into large, inflamed and painful lesions, it’s because agents called Langerhans cells are responding to the irritating oils, hairs and debris trapped within the developing pimple.

Yet something unorthodox happens when you put a pimple in the sun. The bacterium called Propionibacterium acnes, which is readily implicated in causing acne, produces an inflammation taming agent called porphyrin. These porphyrins can in reduce the presence of Langerhans cells in the skin. With fewer Langerhans cells circulating, an inflammatory response becomes less likely, as does the chances of experiencing acne lesions.

Most likely, skipping the sunscreen will leave you to inherit skin that looks like a dried up river. But when combined with adequate protection, the sun transforms into serious skin care capable of healing a body ravaged by acne.

Here’s how to implement your own day-the-sun natural acne treatment:

1. Purchase a non-pore clogging (noncomedogenic) sunscreen with at least an SPF of 45.

2. Rub on the sunscreen according the manufacturer’s instructions, which typically means applying the lotion 20 minutes prior to sun exposure.

3. Use the Environmental Protection Agency’s website to check the UV Index in your area and ensure that you won’t get seared on your tanning day.

4. Enjoy the sun and watching those zits dissipate.

5. After sunbathing, soothe your skin with an aloe vera gel.

Does too much chocolate causes acne?

In this article we’re going to try to clear up the myth that eating too much chocolate causes acne.

You’ve heard all the warnings by your mother growing up. “Don’t eat too much chocolate, you’ll break out!” You’d have to sneak out of the house to get a chocolate fix. And if you were like most kids, you did anything to get that fix.

Chocolate has been blamed for many ailments including acne, tooth decay, obesity, and lacking of food value. It has also been known to have an anti-depressant effect, cause hypertension and even have an aphrodisiac effect.

We know that chocolate is basically harmless unless, like everything else, it is over-consumed. Chocolate has been found not to cause nor aggravate outbreaks of acne. These results are backed up by further research that shows acne in no way is affected by chocolate.

Recent scientific studies have suggested chocolate boosts the serotonin in the brain that produces a calming effect and stability. Stress has been identified as a cause of acne. If chocolate stimulates the serotonin and calms the nerves, then chocolate could ironically be found to assist in acne restraint.

Chocolate lovers will be pleased to know that nutritionists believe chocolate plays a nutritional role in a balanced diet. The facts are that chocolate carries about one-third of an adult’s daily requirement of antioxidants.

For starters, bad hygiene is one of the worst causes of bad complexions. Let’s face it, most teenagers, especially boys, are too busy outside playing sports and getting dirty. Washing up is not exactly a priority to them. And when dirty hands touch dirty faces that is just prime breeding ground for acne.

Then there is the matter of diet outside of chocolate. One of the main causes of acne is oil. Many of the foods that teenagers eat have lots of oil in them. One of the main offenders is pizza. Let’s be honest, a teenager without at least five slices of pizza during the week is not a teenager. Most kids who eat in school will choose that slice of pizza over whatever there may be served that day that is at least somewhat healthy.

Then there is the next thing on the list, fried foods. Fried foods make up more of a teenagers diet than just about anything else. Most kids live out of a Burger King, Wendy’s or McDonalds. French Fries are certainly number one on any kids hit parade. And who doesn’t just love a good bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken?

But to further disprove that chocolate actually causes acne, there are a number of new skin care products on the market that are actually made of chocolate or have chocolate as an ingredient.

There are some companies that put chocolate into their skin creams as a softener. According to these companies, the antioxidants of the chocolate also help in preventing wrinkles.

Theoretically, cocoa might actually prevent damage by free radicals to collagen, elastin and other proteins in the skin. Of course medical science has yet to either prove this or disprove this.

Proof or no proof, at least 90 chocolate based cosmetics popped up last year and the market for chocolate based cosmetics is growing daily. As a matter of fact the normal booth that is displayed at the Chocolate Show in New York has blossomed into a full blown spa. Consumers are claiming that the chocolate based skin care products that they are using do in fact have healing properties. Again, this has neither been proved or disproved.

The point is, there are many more offenders of bad skin than just chocolate and by avoiding fried foods and dirty hands, your teenager will more than likely have a cleaner skin.

With the complicated chemical structures that are located in the body, it’s no wonder that nutritional advice and information is equally as confusing. The good news is that you don’t have to be a doctor in order to understand what needs to happen in your body. By learning just a few things about how the body works and how it doesn’t work, you can add the proper supplements and foods to your everyday life. In the end, these small steps will add up to a giant leap for your health.

What are Omega Fatty Acids?

The most common buzz word these days is the idea of Omega fatty acids or essential fatty acids. These chemical structures are things that the body needs in order to maintain cellular health as well as to prevent inflammation in the body. They also help to maintain the integrity of the nervous system in addition to making sure the body is free from certain illnesses. Studies have linked Omega fatty acids with prevention of cancer, limiting disease growth, as well as helping with mental health disorders. These EFAs (essential fatty acids) can not be produced by the body, so they need to be ingested through the diet or in a supplement form.

There are three different kinds of Omega fatty acids that you will hear about – Omega 3, 6, and 9. Each of these numbers designates that chemical structure, with each ascending number as the longer chain that needs to be broken down by the body. But how they are chemically constructed is usually not the most important point for the everyday person. People want to know what these Omega fatty acids will do for their body.

What Does Omega 3 Do for the Body?

Omega 3 fatty acids are those that are found in oily fishes and in fish oil supplements. These fatty acids are responsible for helping the body create developed neural networks – simply put, they help to build brain power in children as well as adults. Research in the UK has shown that children given EFAs are more likely to score higher on reading tests as well as improve their overall behaviour. Omega 3s are linked with helping those with ADD and ADHD as well, in addition to a variety of other mental health disorders likes OCD and depression. In relation to inflammation in the body, Omega 3 fatty acids can also assist those with arthritis and other autoimmune disorders.

Recent studies from Harvard University have also suggested that Omega 3 fatty acids can also help with high blood pressure and other forms of heart disease. Cancer prevention is another commonly listed benefit of Omega 3 fatty acids.

What Does Omega 6 Do for the Body?

Omega 6 fatty acids are those found in plant sources like nuts and flax seeds. These essential fatty acids have many of the same benefits as Omega 3 fatty acids, but they are not as widely encouraged as those from fish sources.

These fatty acids will still help with inflammation in relation to arthritis and autoimmune diseases, but these EFAs are more commonly referred to in terms of their effect on the skin and hair of the person taking them. Studies have shown that the fatty acids can help to manage acne as well as conditions like psoriasis. Women especially can benefit from Omega 6 fatty acids as they can also help with menstrual disorders and related symptoms.

What Does Omega 9 Do for the Body?

Like its other essential fatty acid family members, Omega 9 fatty acids have a large role to play in relation to the health of the patient. Found in animal fat and vegetable oils, these fatty acids aren’t linked as much with health benefits, but still, they should be a part of a healthy diet.

Cancer prevention as well as heart protection are still possible with Omega 9 fatty acids, but these should be a much smaller part of your diet as they can also include saturated fats, which are harmful to the heart in larger quantities.

How to Get More Essential Fatty Acids in Your Diet

It’s simple to get more Omega fatty acids in your diet if you simply look to where the greatest sources of essential fatty acids are – fishes, flaxseed, and animal fats. By simply making sure to have a few servings of these items each week, you will be able to maintain a healthy level of protection for your body and the stresses it goes through each day.

To make things easier, fish oil supplements are a great way to get the right levels and balance of Omega 3, 6, and 9 in your diet. These pills are easy to take, easy to digest and simple to remember.

Conclusion

When you make sure to add Omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids into your diet, you will make sure you are doing all that you can for your health and for your body.

Who wouldn’t want to have a smooth, flawless skin features? Everyone, particularly women, is crazy about having a beautiful skin. That is why so many beauty treatments and products are widely available today to meet the increasing demand of beauty fanatics for means that can give or help them maintain their young and gorgeous skin.

However, beauty treatments and products do not always have the same effect on women and men. In fact, finding the best skin care treatment and product may take time. Skin experts also recommend the use of treatments and products based on a person’s skin type.

The five skin types, which are normal, oily, sensitive, dry, and combination of dry and oily skin, require proper skin care recommendations, as each type has different reactions with various skin enhancement treatments and products.

Below are professional skin care recommendations for each type of skin conditions that will best guide beauty-conscious individuals on choosing which beauty tips, treatments, and products will work best for their skin type:

1. Dry skin
When your skin is dry, it basically needs a lot of thorough care, for it is very sensitive to irritation, facial lines, and flaking. You should focus on keeping your face properly moisturized. Skin care products containing natural ingredients are the highly recommended product treatments for dry skin. Perfect examples of these natural skin care products are the ones with extra-virgin, coconut oil, and shea butter ingredients.

Washing the face with herbal infusion and cleansing milk is a better way of cleaning the face instead of using tap water. Remember that your dry skin will look smoother and healthier if proper care and maintenance are practiced.

2. Oily skin
Oily skin needs to be frequently hydrated and oil free. If you happen to have an oily skin, you must wash your face at least two to three times a day. Regular treatments for acne are also a must. As for recommended skin care products, a mild soap and moisturizer are perfect for oily skin. Masks are also great moisturizing options for their hydrating and drying ingredients. It is best to apply such facial mask once or twice a week to keep the face well hydrated.

3. Normal skin
Lucky are those gifted with normal skin as it is the least problematic type. However, a normal skin feature still needs to be regularly moisturized, nourished, and cleansed. Top recommended treatment for natural skin is washing the face with rose water or an alcohol-free astringents. Moisturizers for this type of skin condition should be mild and non-greasy. Always wash your face before going to bed, using a mild soap, then finishing it off with a nourishing cream.

4. Sensitive skin
A sensitive skin is probably the most complicated skin type. It needs constant and thorough care as it is always irritated and dry. If you have a sensitive skin, maintain a steady consumption of yogurt, protein, and fatty acids.

5. Combination skin
Having a combination skin type is difficult to manage as it requires two different skin care approaches. Properly maintaining skin care regimen for both dry and oily skin types is necessary to keep a healthy and smooth skin feature.

Skin type plays a big part in how acne affects you and what is needed to treat is. It will also determine what types of products you will use to treat your acne and gennerally care for your skin.

There are some basic questions you can ask yourself to help you get started. First, how often do you break out? Do yu have blackheads? What do your pores look like? After washing with soap, how does your skin look and feel? Do you have facial lines? By asking yourself these questions, you can determine what types of products will work best for you and how your skin might react to them.

There are three basic skin types, but this does not mean your skin can’t be a combination of them. They are oilly, normal, or dry. You could have any one of these skin types, or a combination of them, such as normal to oily, or normal to dry. There are different products for caring for each.

Let’s break it down. Each skintype is characterized by different things such as texture, oil production, and frequency of breakouts.

People with dry skin do not suffer many breakouts, and rarely ever hav blackheads. This is because oil promotes breakouts by clogging pores and blackheads are caused by oil. If your skin is dry, you are not producing very much oil, therefore, aren’t prone to as many episodes.

Dry skin is also characterized by nearly visible pores, and may feel dry and tight after washing. Most people with dry skin are fair skined, and often develop facial lines earlier in life. This skin type also burns easily.

People with normal skin suffer occcasional breakouts, and can have blackheads that appear mostly in the t-zonne the area on either side of the nose and on the forehead. Pores often appear visible in the t-zone, and the skin may feel tight after washing, but will soon become comfortable with oil in t-zone.

The skin coloring is usually fair to medium, and a few lines may appear early on mostly around the eyes. This skin type when exposed to the sun, usually burns, then tans.

People with oilly skin often suffer frequent breakouts with blackheads. The pores are often enlarged, and after washig the face may be oilly, with the nose and forehead quickly becoming shiny.

The skin coloring is often olive to dark. Facial lines are usually very few to none in occurance, and oilly skin usually stays preserved longer and does not age as quickly as do the other skin types. When exposed to the sun, this skin type rarely burns, but rather tans easily.

After you determine your skintype, you can find products developed especially for it. There are a number of products on the market for dealing with each type, as well as for combination skin. Once you find a regimen of products that work for you, you can begin treating your acne properly.

To learn the facts about oily skin care, you should first understand the cause behind oily skin. Simply said, oily skin is a result of intensive production of sebum (an oily substance that is naturally produced by skin). As everyone knows, excess of everything is bad; so excessive sebum is bad too. It leads to clogging of skin pores, the result is accumulation of dead cells and hence formation of pimples/acne. Moreover, oily skin is spoiling your looks too. So, oily skin care is as important as the skin care for all types of skin.

The goal of oily skin care is the removal of excessive sebum or oil from your skin. But of course, oily skin care procedures should not lead to complete removal of oil. Oily skin care begins with the use of a cleanser. But, not all cleansers will do the job. You need a cleanser which contains salicylic acid i.e. a beta-hydroxy acid that slows down the rate of sebum production.I recommend the ClearPores Cleansing System. Cleansing should be done 2 times a day (and even more in hot and humid conditions).

Most of the oily skin care products are oil-free, but, it is always good to check the ingredients of the product, before you purchase it. This is especially important if a product is marked as ‘suitable for all skin types’, instead of ‘oily skin care product’.‘Oily skin care’ also depends on the degree of oiliness, if you are not too oily, some of these ‘suitable for all’- type of products might work for you too. For extremely oily skin, only oily skin care products are will work. Your oily skin care routine can include an alcohol based toner (for an extremely oily skin). This can be the second step in your oily skin care routine i.e. just after cleansing. However, excessive toning can harm your skin.

The next step you should take can be a mild moisturizer. Again, the degree of oiliness of your skin will determine whether you need to include this in your oily skin care routine. If you do include a moisturizer, make sure you use one that is oil-free, wax-free and lipid-free. You could also use a clay mask (once a week is good) as an oily skin care measure.

As far as the oily skin care products go, you might need to try out a few before you find the best for your skin. As I said i recommend the ClearPores Cleansing System. If you like to read more about it follow the link in the resource box of this article.

In case these measures don’t help you reach your goal, consult a dermatologist for advice. He will prescribe stronger oily skin care products like vitamin A creams, retinoids, sulphur creams etc , which can help counter the problems of oily skin.

Acne is very common condition seen in almost all the humans. One or the other time, all of us must have experience acne or pimple. This is nothing but a skin condition in which, the skin gets inflamed on a particular spot and appears as a papule or as an elevated seed like structure. Acne and pimple are generally same and used to describe those so called ’spots’ on the body.

Acne can happen anywhere in the body such as thighs, back, shoulder, neck and face. But most commonly but most worried place is the face. People, across the world, spend millions of dollars to cure their acne condition. There are many reasons for acne to occur. In general, acne occurs due to the hormonal imbalance in the body. There are sebaceous glands underneath the skin and they produce something called ’sebum’ which is a stick substance and continuously flowing outside the skin. The pathway gets blocked and then acne occurs on the skin due to infection resulting inflammation.

Home remedies for acne include -

• Oatmeal is best for acne. Cook oatmeal and then apply them on the face for about 15 minutes. Wash it afterwards.

• Equal quantity of lemon juice and rose water. Mix it well and apply on the affected area with cotton ball. This is very useful remedy for treating the acne condition.

• You can also wash the face with avocado paste mixed with plain water.

• Mixing 2-3 tea bags to some holy basil and cooking in the boiling water and then applying with cotton ball on the affected area is also good home remedy for acne.

• You can also grind bay leaves and blanch in the water. Allow it to cool and then apply on the affected area.

• Egg white is also good for acne. Dip a cotton ball in egg white and then apply on the clean ace. Wait for couple of minutes and then rinse throughouly.

• You can also squeeze cucumbers and apply their juice on the acne with cotton wool pads. Practice it regularly for about 2 months. This is good home remedy for treating acne.

• Trusted home remedy for acne includes mixing the sandalwood and the neem powder with rose water. Mix them up and apply on the affected area. Practicing this regular will take off your acne from the root.

• For internal therapy, drink carrot and cucumber juices regularly. They help to cure acne.
• Never remain constipated. Constipation can bring the acne condition. For this, you can have some herbal bowel regulator. Stop eating spicy and oily food and increase the roughage into the diet. This will prevent the constipation and so the acne.

• Acne should not be squeezed at any cost. They tend to spread rapidly when they are squeezed. Try to avoid it and for itching, you can take cotton ball and then gently press on acne.

• In Ayurveda, some oils such as ‘kumkumadi oil’ are useful treating various skin conditions including acne.

In today’s world, depression ought to be a major concern. Thousands are reported to suffer from the problem. Potentially thousands more cases of depression are going by unreported and untreated. The fact that sales of antidepressant drugs are fairly consistent serves as concrete proof that the condition is a problem. It has become such a concern that most organizations and systems designed to deal with suicide focus on spotting people with depression, inadvertently ignoring other suicide triggers. While antidepressant drugs are known to be effective in helping ward off the symptoms, there are other things that people have to be concerned over.

Acne is also a problem, though hardly one that is as large a concern as depression ought to be. Unlike mental disorders, acne is easily spotted because it has tell-tale physical signs that mark its presence. On their own, these marks are relatively minor concerns at best and are frustrating annoyances in most cases. However, it is the wide range of side effects that acne can have that is considered to be the real problem. With a myriad of social troubles in store for anyone that develops acne, it is understandable that some would worry about their physical appearance and social standing. This social isolation can result in someone developing depression and turning to antidepressant drugs to help dull the pain. However, depending on the drug, this might just inadvertently make things worse.

For a few years, some antidepressant drugs have been cited as having the side effect of causing acne. In this regard, zoloft is often cited as the primary culprit. There is no concrete medical evidence of such, but there has been more than adequate evidence to prompt various organizations to conduct research. There is also enough evidence to convince some to avoid taking zoloft and other chemically similar antidepressant drugs to avoid developing acne.

There have also been reports of a sort of reversal of this problem manifesting in some patients. In particular, some of the newer topical drugs used to combat acne are being cited as having the side effect of causing users to become depressed. Again, there is little actual chemical evidence, but some pharmaceutical companies have conducted research into the matter and have admitted that there is a possibility.
This puts people in a rather interesting situation. There have been some reports of people with acne taking anti-acne medication and becoming depressed, even as the acne fades. One possibility that might occur from this can result in a patient continually taking antidepressants to combat his depression, which are caused by acne that are the side effect of the very same antidepressants he’s taking in the first place. While the chances of something of that sort happening are relatively low, it can still happen and most of the medical community would rather not have to deal with such a bizarre outcome.

There have also been reports of patients with depression developing acne after being treated with certain antidepressant drugs. These cases have not been directly related to either acne medication or antidepressant drugs, but there are some that believe they’ve found chemical evidence hinting towards a connection. For the time being, however, the medical community is still skeptical. There are warnings against taking anti-acne and antidepressants at the same time, but this is only as a precaution until concrete evidence one way or the other can be determined.
